North East Lincolnshire Council is to open up its full photographic, artefacts and arts collections to the public in a series of exhibitions at the Fishing Heritage Centre.
The council has been awarded £50,000 by the Heritage Lottery Fund to provide a total of 15 exhibitions over the next 4 years.
Each of the exhibitions will be accompanied by a bespoke series of outreach activities, which will aim to uncover the history behind the items on show.
They will allow local people to learn more about the collection and also about the heritage of the area. Some of the workshops will be tailored to adults and some to children, so there really is something for everybody.
Entrance to the exhibitions is free and all of the outreach workshops are free. For more information contact Rachel McWilliam, Arts Development Officer on: 01472 323004 or email email@example.com
