Our third and final venue for the Threads project was at the Alzheimer's Society, Dudley Street, Grimsby in May and June 2016. We welcomed three new participants and two new volunteers to the project, and as with our other venues, the six weeks flew by. Research requests included Grimsby transport, specifically buses, Spencer Street which no longer exists but used to be at the back of Ramsdens' store off Grimsby and Cleethorpe Roads, Marks and Spencer and Doigs.
Feedback from participants was very positive and is summed up by the following statement: "Memories have been reinforced in a very happy environment..........lovely people, lovely project and a lovely atmosphere".
